Membership Application and Renewal Form
If you teach or dance country western dancing, you’ll gain valuable dance information every month from the NTA Newsletter. For Country Western Dance
Your name and address must be legible and complete in order form your membership Card to print correctly, and for the monthly Newsletter to reach you via Bulk Mail. It is also important that you send address changes in a timely manner because Bulk Mail is not forwarded!
A GENERAL MEMBER is a teacher who is teaching or has taught C/W dance classes or work shops.
A SUPPORTING MEMBER is a person interested in C/W dance but is not teaching. Supporting members are not entitled to vote on any issues but will receive all other benefits, including the Newsletter. The annual dues for both types of membership are the same.
The NTA Accreditation Program is a form of certification that gives the teachers goals to work toward further their education in dance and dance teaching using the rating system. Everyone is encouraged to go through the Program. NTA does not license or certify teachers.
The NTA is an organization of “Teachers helping Teachers”. Membership does not indicate certification or endorsement of individual teachers. NTA does not license or certify teachers. Teachers may advertise that they are NTA members, but not NTA instructors. Advantages to membership include networking with other country western dance teachers around the world. Learning from each other, and sharing knowledge about teaching and dancing.
